RecruitMilitary Recognizes Koch Industries as a 2017 Most Valuable Employers (MVE) for Military® Winner

May 23, 2017

Loveland, OH – RecruitMilitary, the national leader in helping employers connect with high-quality veteran talent, announced the winners for the 2017 Most Valuable Employers (MVE) for Military, including the selection of Koch Industries.

The MVE recognition helps military-experienced job seekers identify the top employers to target for civilian careers. MVEs are selected annually based on those employers whose recruiting, training, and retention plans best serve military service members and veterans. The award marks its ninth edition in 2017.

“Character, dedication, perseverance and courage are traits that define the military men and women who serve our nation,” said Col. John Buckley, U.S. Army (Ret.) and military relations manager at Koch Industries. “Koch-employed military veterans are making valuable contributions to Koch companies, their customers and the communities where they work.”

As a proud Military Friendly® employer, Koch’s military relations programs serve as a guide for veterans or transitioning service men and women to achieve greater success. Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (a committee of the Department of Defense), has recognized Koch companies with a total of six awards for providing a supportive workplace for employees who serve in the military. Visit kochcareers.com/veterans for more information about the Koch’s military relations program.

“Veterans truly represent the finest talent our country has to offer,” said Peter Gudmundsson, President of RecruitMilitary. “Judging by the stature of the businesses that comprise the Most Valuable Employers for Military winners, we can see that organizations thrive when they include veteran hiring initiatives in their human resource strategies.”
